If you have this 2343 installation/uninstallation problem that it seems not going away no matter if you re-install or remove Delphi, then try the following steps:
Regarding your question on the installation failing with Error 2343.
The only known way of removing this error is to do a clean uninstall using the following instructions.
Uninstall completely using the start menu add/remove/modify and select Uninstall
Remove the C:\Program Files\CodeGear\RAD Studio\6.0 directory Remove the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\RAD Studio directory
Remove registry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\BDS\6.0 Remove registry for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Borland\BDS\6.0
Remove C:\ProgramData\CodeGear directory
Then remove these keys:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{A2B58B18-5D04-4006-9713-B6945880746E} HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CodeGear RAD Studio 2009
From Windows\System32:
Remove all *120.bpl Remove all *120.jdbg Remove all *120.xml Remove all bdeadmin.* Remove all cc3290*.dll Remove all midas.* Remove all Tee*120*.bpl
