You need a Numeric Keypad to Start with Your HHKB!

Getting a HHKB and being excited for a few days? Sooner or later, you ‘ll realise that it is not very convenient as you need to remember the combination keys for arrows, back space etc.

With backspaces, you can easy configure in SW3 mode so that the DELETE will be the BACKSPACE but sadly you can’t have both. I use delete and backspace a lot so it took me a while to get use to it.

The essence of using HHKB is to have the minimal number of keys and you don’t have to lift up your hand and move along if you want to key in the arrows, functional keys etc.

For those spending a fortune on HHKB and can’t return it, you probably need this to start using HHKB – making it a little bit better.

With the numeric lock off, you can have your arrow keys, the backspace, the page up and down, the home and end back – how great is that!
