A Sample Job Resignation Letter – How to Resign?

Resigning a job needs to be formal – so sending an email is recommended. You need to put the last day of working, and briefly thank your manager. Below is a formal job resignation letter that I used twice. Feel free to adapt to your needs.

A job resignation letter should be formal, specific, and concise – don’t put too much information that is unnecessary – for example, you don’t have to say why you are leaving and not to mention that you have a better/another job offer.
