The Facebook Crawler (or Facebots) uses the following user-agent string. The User Agent is a string that can be used to identify the visitors. It can also be analysed by this online tool i.e. User Agent Parser
facebookexternalhit/1.1 (+http://www.facebook.com/externalhit_uatext.php) facebookexternalhit/1.1 Facebot
On System.Online, it catches the Facebot with the following snapshot and that clearly shows that the Facebots are using ipv6 addresses.
Why IPV6? because IPv4 are almost being used-up and become a sparse resource while IPv6 is more than enough for everybody in the world.
