Store and Backup Unlimited Photos using Amazon Photos (Prime)

To me, the best thing of having a Amazon Prime membership/subscription is to have a unlimited photo backup/cloud storage. So far, I have stored more than 200K photos on Amazon Photos and it would cost me more if I choose to store them somewhere else in the cloud.

Data is very important, and do Backup more!

I have lost some precious photos/videos due to loss of an external hard drive years ago when I was travelling to Prague, Czech Republic. Another incidence was occured a few years during Covid, when I accidentally damaged my hard drive due to a power failure. Since then, I have decided to do backups (photos, videos and all sources of important data), more frequently and in more places. I have purchased 2×18 TB HDD – RAID 1 Mirror, and also backup in multiple Cloud Storages (iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox …) Amazon Photos become my major choice of backup Photos.

Amazon Photos

If you’re like me, you have thousands, if not tens of thousands, of photos stored across various devices. They are more than just digital pixels; they are precious memories, unique moments, and sometimes, beautiful accidents that you’d never want to lose. However, backing them up can be a tedious process, and many online storage platforms restrict the number of photos you can save unless you’re willing to shell out for a premium account.

If this resonates with you, I have good news! Amazon, the e-commerce giant, offers a solution with its service, Amazon Photos. For those subscribed to Amazon Prime, you can store and back up an unlimited number of photos at no extra cost. It is an excellent opportunity to secure your cherished memories without breaking the bank.
