Mechanical Keyboard is a must-have for Programmers. This Black Friday, I have purchased a Razer BlackWidow Mechanical 87 Keys Mechanical keyboard for home use.
The green logo (3 snakes) is vividly shown when connected.

It has a keyboard cover to keep keys away from dirt.

The sound is just lovely, not too noisy, you ‘ve got to hear it by yourself. The keys are easy to press but not too soft. So with each keypress, you know what exactly are entered. Compared to this Razer full keyboard, this one is not so heavy (of course with less keys), but enough for daily use. Highly recommended at such cheap price.
Of course, there is a silent-key version, but it is much more expensive e.g. more than 200 GBP.
PS: The USB/MicroUSB cable (looks well protected, strong) can be disconnected/replaced so it is good in case the cable is damaged.
