What does that mean for me? If you are a QuickHostUK Fully Managed Hosting customer you will have already noticed the network speed increase on your server from 100Mbit => 1Gbit. If you are not a QuickHostUK Fully Managed Hosting customer this option is now available to you also. To take advantage of this on your own server please visit the Upgrade/Downgrade section within your billing area: www.quickhostuk.com – Services – My Services – Select Service – Upgrade/Downgrade Options. Alternately please open a support ticket where we will be able to advise you further.
From the control panel, you could see the current specification of the VPS, which indicates that it is a 1G network.

You could use command speedtest-cli –share to verify the network speed on the VPS.

However, I tried to test the speed but it did not show the 1G speed yet.

Please shutdown server then power off via admin panel. When you shut off it writes the new config to the VPS so when it boots you will have it. Please note it was 100mbit before not mbs. So before would be around 11mbsec. Now will be over 11mbsec.
After power off VPS and restart, it works like a magic! Thanks QuickhostUK because this is totally Free!
