The USDT to GBP Exchange Rate Comparison: Crypto.com, Ledger and Wirex

USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin that is pegged to the US dollar. It is designed to maintain a 1:1 parity with the US dollar, meaning that one USDT is always equal to one US dollar. It is used mainly as a means of transferring value between different digital asset exchanges, allowing traders and investors to easily move their money between platforms without having to convert it into different fiat currencies.

Same time as of today. It costs 200 USDT more approximately to exchange USDT to 4000 GBP by using Crypto.com than Wirex (or WirexApp).

The Ledger Crypto Virtual Card, has a rate between WirexApp and Crypto.com. Ledger Crypto Card only supports USDT (Stable coin) on Ethereum Chain.

Conclusion of USDT Exchange

The WirexApp supports USDT on TRC-20 (TRON Blockchain), ETH and so many other chains. And on the other hand, Crypto.com only supports USDT on ETH, Cronos and Polygons. And it has come to my attention (not just this time), the Exchange rate from USDT to GBP (Fiat) or vice versa on the Crypto is less favorable than on the WirexApp (at the same time). And Ledger Crypto Virtual Card’s exchange rate (USDT to GBP) is between Wirex (or WirexApp) and Crypto.com

My friend said that I could try the P2P (Peer to Peer, or Person to Person) Exchange, in order to get a good exchange rate. This is definitely a good idea to avoid being charged too much by the exchange.

Also, the buy/sell rate by Crypto exchange is not the same – so you will get immediate loss if you buy a coin and then quickly sell it straight away, or vice versa (sell a coin and then buy it back). The Crypto Exchange makes profit and that is how they make money and run business.
