A Lite Comparison Between QuickHostUK and Vultr High Performance VPS Hosting

I have currently owned two VPS from QuickHostUK and Vultr respectively, here is a lite comparisons.

Prices

Vultr: $5 offers 15GB SSD, 1 core (2.4GHz), 740MB RAM, 1TB bandwith, 1 static IPv4. More information.
QuickHostUK: 5.99 GBP offers 10GB SSD, 2 cores (2.4GHz), 512MB RAM, 5TB bandwidth, 1 static IPV4. More information.
personally, I think 512MB RAM is a bit small to host apache2 but Nignix may be fine.

Server Locations

Vultr: be able to offer servers globally.
QuickHostUK: only in UK.

Dashboard

Vultr seems better (easy to use and powerful web management) and it is mobile user friendly, which is a Pro feature because you can login to your account using smart phones e.g. HTC One M9.

Managed/Self-Managed

Vultr only offers self-managed VPS/dedicated instances.
QuickHostUK offers managed servers (VPS or Dedicated Servers) as well.

Backups

Data is very valuable so you need to keep backups. Vultr: 2 auto backups are kepts at $1 per month.
Vultr: snapshots up to 10 are provided for free (manual entire image backup).
QuickHostUK: R1 Soft Continuous backup but a bit expensive (around 230 GBP per year)

Billing:

QuickHostUK: pay monthly or annually (1 month free).
Vultr: billing updates hourly. Pre-paid account.

Referral Bonus

QuickHostUK: 10% commissions, 10 GBP threshold.
Vultr: $10 per sign up, no minimal threshold if credited into account, can also be paid via Paypal.

Others

QuickHostUK VPS, ping less than 25ms, but generally a bit slow
to visit in China.
QuickHostUK Singapore VPS, ping around 200 to 250 ms in UK but my friend in China says the speed improves because I migrate one website to singapore.

Ticket support speed

QuickHostUK: generally very fast to respond.
Vultr: even faster, I opened a few tickets and they responded each tickets in 5 minutes.

API Support

Vultr supports API.
The API supported by QuickHostUK is via Virtualizor.
