Someone today asks me how I can show that (I am in UK without using proxy/VPN)? You can rely on several online websites that will give you a IP address. Another easy method is, if you server is using CloudFlare CDN, it will have a /cdn-cgi/trace URL that is available to use.
Visit https://justyy.com/cdn-cgi/trace that gives the following:
fl=20f40 h=justyy.com ip=90.152.1.212 ts=1437554051.156 visit_scheme=https uag=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/43.0.2357.134 Safari/537.36 colo=AMS spdy=3.1
Here you go, your IP is exposed. CloudFlare CDN acts as a reverse proxy. You would also be recommended to install mod_cloudflare or WordPress plugin CloudFlare to reveal actual visitors’ IP to your site (apache2 server log or geo-targeting adsense).
The colo value is the cloudflare server that serves you. AMS = Amsterdam. The list of addresses can be viewed in this page: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169986-Which-CloudFlare-data-centre-do-I-reach-
